Strata Tickets

Privacy

What Strata Tickets keeps, who can see it, and what it sends.

Who sees a ticket

The requester, the person who filed it, the assignee and followers; the people on a team that works or views its category at its site; nobody else. A ticket you cannot see is "not found". Internal notes, time entries and rates are shown only to people who work the ticket.

Students

A ticket or a device can name a student. Students are looked up only at the sites your permissions cover. When a student is erased, their name goes from tickets, devices and fees, which keep their history under "Erased Student".

Email

Notification emails go to staff accounts only, carry no open or click tracking, and tell other systems' automatic replies to stay quiet. Rule emails go only to addresses at the district's own email domains, and each is written to the audit log. Mail received from an address that matches no active staff account creates nothing; the attempt is kept 90 days under Admin > Audit log > Inbound Email.

Uploads

Photos lose their location and camera details before they are kept. Files are checked against their type.

The audit log

Every settings change and every export is written to the audit log with who made it and, for a change, the before and after.
